Transcripts is a series of interviews conducted by Theo Macdonald originally for 95bFM’s Artbank programme, transcribed for Vernacular.
The following three Transcripts highlight a surge in Tāmaki Makaurau, with three new artist-run initiatives (ARIs) opening at the beginning of 2022. Acknowledging that the city has been hit hard by pandemic restrictions, we can see three individuals taking control of their surrounding environments and providing new spaces for artists and communities.
